Exploring the data visualizations of W.E.B. Du Bois

The University of Oxford’s Department of Statistics invited me to give its 2020 Black History Month lecture, online and hosted by Professor Christl Donnelly. I talked about W.E.B. Du Bois’s team and the charts they made for the 1900 Paris Exposition, and why that work speaks so directly to Black Lives Matter today. The recording is on Oxford’s podcast site.
