he partners with Fortune 100 companies, NGOs, and cultural
institutions to design data experiences, dashboards, and
interactive tools that make intricate systems legible and
actionable. Organized as a collective of top talent in
data visualization, interactive software development, and
design, JFA helps teams explore data for faster, more
confident decisions and craft memorable narratives that
resonate with executive and public audiences alike.

sits at the center of a broader practice that spans two
additional platforms: Data Vandals and the MPS Data
Visualization & Communication program at the School of
Visual Arts. Through Data Vandals, Forrest brings data
into public space with sculptures, murals, and
installations that transform cities into data-rich
canvases, while as founding chair of the SVA MPS program
he trains the next generation of data communicators to
combine design, technology, and narrative craft. Together,
these platforms feed back into JFA, ensuring the studio’s
work is informed by cutting-edge practice in industry,
public art, and education.He was an Associate Partner at
McKinsey & Company and Director of the Data Visualization
Lab. He launched the McKinsey Health Institute, COVID
Response Center, and led high-profile events such as
COP26. His work spans industries and technologies,
advising Fortune 100 corporations, NGOs, and nonprofit
foundations.
