The Data Visualizations of W.E.B. Du Bois

My talk on the data visualizations of W.E.B. Du Bois at Tapestry 2018, the conference on storytelling with data, held at the University of Miami on 29–30 November. It looks at the hand-drawn charts Du Bois and his students at Atlanta University made for the 1900 Paris Exposition: how they were built, and why they still land more than a century later.
